The Process

Read all the information on our website and if you are interested in submitting a placement opportunity then please complete the form "Your Placement Opportunity" and email it to employers@gapni.com

Once we have received your application form, this will be placed on our database and website of placement opportunities and will be offered to suitable graduates that have been referred to us.

If we find a suitable graduate for you opportunity, we will send you through their CV and offer you a chance to interview the graduate. We cannot provide a timescale for this, and it may take several weeks before we find a suitable graduate for you to interview.

If the interview is successful, then we will confirm a start date with you (this always has to be a Monday morning and we will need a minimum of five working days notice.) and ensure that we have all the necessary paperwork (insurance details and a signed Placement Provider Agreement) before the placement begins.

Once in placement, the GAP graduate will ask you to sign their weekly attendance form. They will work Monday to Thursday normal business hours.

Every four weeks, the GAP team will complete a review with the GAP graduate. You are invited to attend the first workplace review and any subsequent meetings if you feel this is necessary. We are available to discuss the progress of the GAP graduate with you at any stage.

If you would like to offer the GAP graduate part time or full time employment, then there is an employer's subsidy towards their wages for up to six months. If you wish to do this, it is important to contact the employer contact manager at the graduates jobs and benefits office and complete an employer agreement before the graduates finishes placement.
